Josie Wachi, the Clothing Label:

Josie Wachi designs has gotten media attention with spotlight features in several magazines such as Event Magazine, Huntsville Times, Life on The Water, NOALA, AL.com, and more. Josie was also invited to speak about city stability at the North Alabama African American Chamber of Commerce. 

 

About the Josie Wachi Logo:

The logo, four crescent moons, makes a full moon when joined, representing starting as a designer in Huntsville, the Rocket City. Looking closer, it also represents Mombasa, the beautiful island resort town where Josie was born. The tusks are the landmark of arrival to that busy, tourist-filled town.

 

About the Name Josie Wachi:

Josie's hero is her father, whose middle name is Wachira, which was shortened so as to have the fashion flair of label pronunciation like Versace, Gucci. ​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
